Welcome to Veranaturae
A Sanctuary for Mindfulness, Yoga, and Nature Appreciation
Mindfulness
In our fast-paced world, we often lose touch with the present moment and our connection to the natural world. Mindfulness offers us a path back to awareness, helping us find peace, clarity, and a deeper appreciation for life's simple moments.
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with curiosity and without judgment. It's about being fully aware of what's happening right now – our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the world around us.
At its core, mindfulness is simply the art of being present. It's learning to observe your thoughts and emotions as they arise, without getting caught up in them. Imagine sitting by a stream and watching leaves float by – that's how we learn to observe our thoughts: noticing them and letting them pass.
Mindfulness can be practiced through meditation, mindful breathing, or simply bringing awareness to everyday activities. It's not about emptying your mind – it's about developing a kind, curious relationship with whatever is happening in the present moment.
Through regular mindfulness practice, you can experience numerous benefits:
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Improved emotional regulation
- Better sleep quality
- Increased self-awareness
- Greater sense of inner peace
- More compassionate relationship with yourself and others

About Me
Hi, I'm Veronica - plant biologist, mindfulness coach, nature lover, and someone who knows what it's like to live on autopilot.
For years, I worked as a plant biologist, deeply connected to the natural world. Nature has always been my refuge - a place where I felt peaceful, grounded, and truly myself. But something shifted when I discovered mindfulness: that sense of connection deepened. The way I experienced life, including my time in nature, became more vivid, more present, more alive.
That's what inspired me to become a mindfulness coach. I wanted to share this way of living more consciously - with less stress, more presence, and more joy.
